I have a user running Office 2010, Windows 7 64-bit, & Acrobat 9 Pro. He's getting this same error. There is no "Enable Protected Mode" in Acrobat 9 Pro (or if there is, can someone please tell me where to find it?). Anyone else NOT using Acrobat Reader getting this?

Wow, that's terrible. We're hoping that upgrading to 365 will SOLVE our various login related woes. I hope your experience is isolated. :(

I know this is now a year old, but Google brought me here. At least you got a popup from Outlook. Using Office 365 (replacement for BPOS? or something like that?) my email just stopped working. Period. Across all devices. It wasn't until I signed into web mail that I was notified that my password HAD EXPIRED.

Gets better. There's a powershell cmdlet to disable password expiration. Fine for me. I ran it. No way to test if it's working. The cmdlet in the powershell help files is not recognized as a valid cmdlet (yes, I checked the spelling).

Microsoft has abysmal support going on here. The sad thing is, I've tried about 6 hosted exchange providers (more than 10 if you count the ones that were so bad I left within 2 days), and so far they've been the most reliable. That's not saying a lot, but what a joke this is. Enjoyed the lolcat, BTW.

Have recently downloaded Adobe Reader X;

Cannot seem to insert a PDF object in powerpoint. i keep getting the msg ...

The Server Application, source file, or item cannot be found, or returned an unknown error. You may need to reinstall the server application.

I have deselected Enable Protect Mode in the PDF Reader X, and rebooted, but no luck. I removed Reader X and installed Reader ver 9.x and got the same issue; Re-installed Reader X and deselected protect mode ...

Nice. It was associated with UltraEdit.js. I put it back to that after running the script. Hopefully I won't need to change it again!
